A Maruti Swift car suddenly caught fire near the Lal Kuan bridge in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, triggering panic among commuters and people in the area. The shocking incident was captured on video, which is now circulating on social media.

The footage shows the vehicle engulfed in massive flames, with thick smoke rising into the air. According to reports, the car was a CNG-powered Maruti Swift. Fortunately, the driver managed to step out of the vehicle in time and escaped safely. However, the car was almost completely gutted in the blaze.

The viral video shows fire spreading across the vehicle as flames rise from different parts of the car. The incident reportedly took place near the Lal Kuan bridge, a busy stretch in Ghaziabad.

The sudden blaze created panic among people present at the spot. Commuters were also left concerned as the burning vehicle was located along a busy road.

According to reports, the driver noticed the fire and managed to get out before the flames engulfed the car. His timely escape helped prevent a potentially serious tragedy.

Fire Brigade Rushes To The Spot

According to local reports, the fire department received information about the incident at around 11:30 PM on Friday, November 6. A fire tender from the Kotwali fire station was immediately sent to the location.

Firefighters reached the spot and worked to bring the blaze under control. Despite their efforts, the vehicle suffered extensive damage and was nearly reduced to ashes.

The incident also affected traffic movement in the area. As a precautionary measure, traffic moving from Ghaziabad towards Bulandshahr was reportedly stopped for around 30 minutes. This led to a queue of vehicles on the affected stretch.

The exact cause of the fire has not yet been confirmed. Since the vehicle was reportedly a CNG-powered Maruti Swift, questions have emerged about whether a technical fault, an electrical issue, or another problem triggered the blaze. The biggest relief is that the driver, reportedly identified as Anil Kumar, escaped safely. No injuries or casualties were reported in connection with the incident.
