पूरे शहर में सुरक्षा के इंतजाम: डीसीपी
साउथ डिस्ट्रिक्ट के डीसीपी अनंत मित्तल कहते हैं, “दिल्ली में सीजेपी के विरोध-प्रदर्शन के आह्वान को देखते हुए साउथ डिस्ट्रिक्ट समेत पूरे शहर में सुरक्षा के इंतजाम किए गए हैं। अंतर-राज्यीय और अंतर-जिला सीमाओं पर सुरक्षा के खास उपाय लागू किए गए हैं। हम अनधिकृत लोगों को दिल्ली में घुसने से रोक रहे हैं और चेकिंग कर रहे हैं। हमारा मकसद यह पक्का करना है कि दिन शांति से गुजरे, अलग-अलग सीमाओं पर लगभग 12 पिकेट (चौकियां) हैं। इसके अलावा, हमने जिले के अंदर भी कई पिकेट बनाए हैं और कई बाहरी पोस्ट का इस्तेमाल कर रहे हैं…”
साउथ दिल्ली में सुरक्षा इंतजामों पर वे कहते हैं, “हमने सीमाओं पर चेकिंग बहुत कड़ी कर दी है ताकि विरोध-प्रदर्शन में शामिल होने का आह्वान करने वाले संगठनों के सदस्यों को रोका जा सके और उन्हें समझाया-बुझाया जा सके। हम आम जनता से भी अपील करते हैं। साथ ही, दिल्ली के अंदर किसी भी अनधिकृत जमावड़े या घटना को रोकने के लिए हम ड्रोन और CCTV से निगरानी रख रहे हैं… “हम भारतीय नागरिक सुरक्षा संहिता (BNSS) की धारा 163 के तहत जारी आदेशों के बारे में लगातार घोषणाएं कर रहे हैं और ड्रोन से निगरानी भी कर रहे हैं।”

Furthermore, we are maintaining surveillance using drones and CCTV to prevent any unauthorized gatherings or incidents within Delhi… “We are continuously making announcements regarding the orders issued under Section 163 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), and we are also conducting surveillance using drones.”

सीजेपी संस्थापक ने सरकार की कार्रवाई पर उठाए सवाल
सीजेपी के संस्थापक अभिजीत दिपके ने प्रधानमंत्री पर देश के युवाओं और लोगों से डरने का आरोप लगाया है। उन्होंने सरकार की कार्रवाई पर सवाल उठाते हुए पूछा कि सभी रेल और मेट्रो सेवाएं बंद करने की क्या आवश्यकता थी। दिपके ने इंटरनेट काटने और सड़कें अवरुद्ध करने का भी जिक्र किया। उन्होंने आरोप लगाया कि जम्मू-कश्मीर से सेना और नक्सल प्रभावित क्षेत्रों से सीआरपीएफ बल दिल्ली में तैनात किए गए हैं। दिपके ने सवाल किया कि क्या नरेंद्र मोदी और अमित शाह अपने ही देश के लोगों के खिलाफ युद्ध छेड़ना चाहते हैं। उन्होंने यह भी पूछा कि क्या ज्ञानेश कुमार इतने प्रिय हैं कि उनके लिए नागरिकों पर पुलिस और सेना बल का प्रयोग किया जाएगा।

शताब्दी और जनशताब्दी रद्द, आधी रात को ही दिल्ली कूच कर गए पीयू के छात्र
दिल्ली में शनिवार को प्रस्तावित प्रदर्शन में शामिल होने के लिए पंजाब यूनिवर्सिटी के छात्र आधी रात से ही रवाना हो गए। चंडीगढ़ से दिल्ली जाने वाली कालका शताब्दी और जनशताब्दी रद्द होने के बाद विद्यार्थियों ने बसों, निजी वाहनों और दूसरे साधनों से राष्ट्रीय राजधानी पहुंचने की तैयारी की। छात्रों का कहना है कि वे अपने कार्यक्रम से पीछे नहीं हटेंगे। जरूरत पड़ी तो प्रदर्शन 11, 12 और 13 अक्तूबर को भी जारी रखा जाएगा। रेलवे के अनुसार, कालका शताब्दी सुबह 6:53 बजे और जनशताब्दी सुबह 7:41 बजे रवाना होनी थी लेकिन दोनों ट्रेनें रद कर दी गईं। इससे दिल्ली जाने की योजना बना रहे विद्यार्थियों को वैकल्पिक साधन तलाशने पड़े। पंजाब यूनिवर्सिटी के आईसा संगठन के सदस्य आयुष ने आरोप लगाया कि विद्यार्थियों को प्रदर्शन में शामिल होने से रोकने के लिए अलग-अलग तरीके अपनाए जा रहे हैं। उनके अनुसार, निजामुद्दीन और नई दिल्ली रेलवे स्टेशन की ओर जाने वाली ट्रेनों के रद होने से छात्रों को परेशानी हुई।
